Many NordicTrack models are compatible with iFit. This software package (also available with the brand's cross trainers and exercise bikes) opens up a world of customised workouts powered by Google Maps, all with automatic tracking so you can measure progress.

Of particular note is the NordicTrack Incline series of treadmills. The range of incline available is impressive - up to 40% and even the facility to decline by up to -6 degrees, which is an unusual feature for treadmills to have. Exercise bikes are on offer from NordicTrack with a good variety of racing, upright and recumbent models. Most of are packed with features, including iFit. At the lower end is the GX 5.0 which has a 10kg flywheel, 20 workout programmes and 20 different resistance levels that can be used, on top of iFit compatibility. The 5.2 version of the GX is pricier but has a much weightier flywheel at 22kg.

The Incline series have a space saving design and a variable pedal path which enables the user to focus on a greater range of muscle groups. At the top of the range are models that have Android display.

The RX800 is NordicTrack's rowing machine that features 20 workout apps. iFit subscriptions, add-ons and a variety of accessories are also available to enhance the use of used NordicTrack gym equipment.
